The story

Airhaus started with a simple observation: parents planning a birthday party shouldn't have to gamble on whether the bounce house showing up is clean, inspected, or even insured. The bar was too low and nobody seemed to care.

We built Airhaus for the parent who doesn't want to worry. Every unit is cleaned between bookings and set up by our team before your first guest arrives. You don't inflate anything. You don't stake anything. You just watch your kids bounce.

Booking & Pricing
What's included with every booking?
Every Airhaus rental includes clean, inspected equipment, professional setup and teardown, full liability insurance, a 400-ball ball pit, a branded welcome sign with the birthday kid's name, 48-hour booking confirmation, and setup photos delivered within 24 hours. No upgrade tiers, no add-on bundles. One price, everything in.
How does payment work?
Full payment at booking for available units, all major cards through Stripe. No cash, no Venmo. We run a real business. Arriving units work differently. You can reserve ahead with a deposit.
Can I change my rental time after booking?
Yes. Email hello@airhausrentals.com at least 48 hours before your event and we'll move your reservation to any available time, no fee.
Do you stay for the entire rental?
No. We deliver, set up, and walk you through safety and operation. Once everything is inflated, anchored, and ready, we leave. A responsible adult (18+) must be present and supervising the unit at all times during your rental. We return at the end of your rental window for teardown.
The Play Haus
How big is The Play Haus? Will it fit in my yard?
The unit is 13 feet wide by 8 feet deep and 7 feet tall. We need at least a 4-foot clearance on every side and a flat, mostly-level surface. If you're not sure, send us a photo of your yard before booking and we'll let you know.
What's the difference between wet and dry setup?
Dry: kids bounce, slide, climb, no water involved. Wet (+$225): we connect a hose to the splash pool at the base of the slide. Kids slide into water, splash around, get soaked. Wet setup is recommended for warm weather (75°F+) only. Note: we provide the hose and connections; you provide the water (an outdoor spigot near the setup area).
What ages is it for?
Designed for ages 1-8, capacity up to 6 children at once. Older kids and adults can damage the unit and void our coverage. Please don't.
Can it go on concrete or only grass?
Grass is best. We can set up on concrete or pavement using sandbag anchors instead of stakes. Just let us know at booking so we bring the right gear.
The Great Haus
How big is The Great Haus? Will it fit in my yard?
The Great Haus has a 17-foot by 13-foot footprint and stands 14 feet tall. It's our largest unit. Plan for at least a 4-foot clearance on every side, a flat, mostly-level surface, and no low branches or wires overhead. Not sure? Send us a photo of your space before booking and we'll confirm the fit.
What ages and how many kids is it for?
Built for ages 3-14, with an 800-pound capacity, or about 8 children at once. The roomy bounce floor, elevated front slide, and oversized mesh windows make it a great fit for mixed-age groups while keeping everyone easy to supervise.
How is it built? Is it safe?
Commercial-grade construction: 100% PVC vinyl, reinforced with 18oz material at the stress points. It has a sun-shielding roof, rip-stop mesh windows on every side, and a safety escape hatch. Like every Airhaus unit, it's inspected before each booking and anchored on every setup.
Can I run The Great Haus wet?
Yes. Add the splash pool conversion (+$225) and we'll set up the front slide to run into water for warm-weather parties (75°F+). We provide the hose and connections; you provide an outdoor spigot near the setup area.
The Light Haus
How does a Light Haus movie night work?
We bring a theater-scale inflatable screen, a true 4K projector with cinema-grade HDR, and 5.1-channel surround sound, set it all up, and dial everything in before showtime. The picture is bright enough for comfortable backyard viewing and the projector runs whisper-quiet, so all you hear is the movie. When the night wraps, we handle teardown. Book it on its own for $349, or add it to any bounce rental for $175 and let the party run into the evening.
When does the movie start?
Projection looks best after dusk, so showtime follows sunset. We arrive and set up while it's still light out, so the screen is up and dialed in the moment it's dark enough to start.
What do I need to provide?
Three things: a power outlet within about 100 feet of the setup area, WiFi the projector can reach if you're streaming, and enough open yard for the screen and your seating. Not sure your space works? Send us a photo before booking and we'll confirm the fit.
Do I need to provide the movie?
No. Streaming apps are built into the projector, including Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, and the other major services. Sign into your account over your home WiFi and pick anything in your library. Prefer your own device? You can plug one in over HDMI instead.
Is there a security hold for the Light Haus?
Yes. Because the Light Haus travels with professional projection and sound equipment, we place a $200 hold on your card at booking. It's not a charge: the hold is released within 48 hours of pickup once the equipment checks out, which is virtually every rental. Your only job is to keep drinks and curious hands away from the projector table.
What if it rains on movie night?
The projector and sound gear can't run in rain. If weather forces us to cancel, you choose: reschedule for any available date, or a full refund. Same policy as every Airhaus rental.
Photos & the Airhaus Experience
What photos are included with every booking?
We photograph the full setup: the unit, the welcome sign, the ball pit, your backyard ready to go. These are delivered as a downloadable gallery within 24 hours. Every booking includes setup photography at no extra charge.
Who takes the photos? Are they professional?
Our own crew, on professional gear. The setup photos included with every booking are shot by the team during delivery and setup. Want coverage of the actual party? Add The Memory Package ($199) and a photographer stays through your event for 2+ hours of candid coverage, delivered as a gallery within 24 hours.
Do you photograph my kids without asking?
Never. At setup we'll ask which kids have photo permission and which don't. We can shoot wide and avoid faces if you'd rather. Your photos are yours. We only use them in our marketing if you opt in separately.
What is The Memory Package?
The Memory Package adds 2+ hours of candid event photography during your party. Our photographer captures the kids on the unit, the energy, the real moments, not posed shots. You receive a full gallery delivered within 24 hours. The Memory Package is available as an add-on for $199 with any rental.
What's on the welcome sign?
A custom sign with the birthday kid's name and age, set up at your front entrance or by the unit. Yours to keep after the event.
Logistics & Safety
What time do you arrive?
We arrive 60-90 minutes before your rental window starts. Setup takes 30-45 minutes. We're done and out of your way before your first guest shows up.
What if it rains?
Light rain is usually fine and we'll roll with it. For sustained winds over 15 mph, lightning, or heavy rain, we'll cancel and you choose: reschedule for any available date, or full refund. Your call. The cancellation call itself is ours. We won't put kids on a unit we can't operate safely.
Do you have insurance?
Yes. We carry general liability coverage and we're happy to provide a Certificate of Insurance if your venue, HOA, or park requires one. Just ask at booking.
Can you set up at a park or venue?
Sometimes, it depends on the site. We'll need a power outlet within about 100 ft (we don't provide generators yet), and most parks require a permit and a Certificate of Insurance naming the venue, which we're happy to provide. Check with us before you book the space so we can confirm we can serve it.
Is there a waiver?
Yes. We send a digital waiver before your event. One signature from a parent or guardian covers all kids using the unit at your party. Takes 30 seconds.
What's your cancellation policy?
Cancel 7+ days before your event for a full refund. Cancel 48 hours to 7 days before for a 50% refund or full credit toward a future booking. Inside 48 hours, the rental is non-refundable unless we cancel for weather, in which case you choose between rescheduling or a full refund.
