Rental Agreement

Rental Agreement & Liability Waiver

By booking, paying for, or using equipment rented from Airhaus Rentals ("Airhaus"), the person renting ("Renter") agrees to the terms below. The Renter must be 18 or older and is responsible for all use of the equipment during the rental period.

1Assumption of risk

The Renter understands that use of inflatable equipment involves inherent risks, including falls, collisions, and injury, and voluntarily assumes all such risks for themselves and all guests and participants.

2Adult supervision

A responsible adult must actively supervise the equipment at all times during use. Equipment must never be used unattended.

3Rules of safe use

The Renter agrees to enforce these rules:

4Weather

Inflatables must not be used in rain, wet conditions, lightning, or high winds, or as otherwise instructed at setup. If wind or storms develop, all users must exit immediately and the unit must be deflated. The Renter is responsible for monitoring conditions during the rental.

5Setup, power, and surface

The Renter confirms the setup area is flat, clear of debris and overhead hazards, accessible, and within reach of a working power outlet, or that a generator has been arranged in advance. The Renter will not move the equipment once it has been installed by Airhaus.

6Care and damage

The Renter is responsible for the equipment from delivery to pickup and will keep it clean and dry. The Renter agrees to pay for damage beyond normal wear, as well as loss, theft, or excessive cleaning needs.

7Electronics & AV equipment

Some rentals, including The Light Haus, include projection, sound, or other electronic equipment. For those rentals the Renter also agrees:

8Release and hold harmless

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the Renter releases, waives, and agrees not to sue Airhaus, its owners, employees, and agents for any injury, death, loss, or property damage arising from use of the equipment, except for harm caused by Airhaus's gross negligence or willful misconduct.

9Indemnification

The Renter agrees to indemnify and hold Airhaus harmless from any claims, including those brought by guests or third parties, arising out of the rental or use of the equipment.

10Inspection

The Renter confirms the equipment was received in good, clean, working condition and that Airhaus reviewed safe operating instructions.

11Cancellation, refunds, and rescheduling

Plans change, and the closer a cancellation lands to the event date the harder it is for us to fill that day. The schedule below reflects that.

To cancel, email hello@airhausrentals.com. Timing is measured from when that email arrives, in Eastern Time.

The Renter may reschedule once at no charge, with at least 48 hours notice and subject to availability. Rescheduling does not restart the refund schedule. If a rescheduled rental is later cancelled, the refund is calculated from the original event date rather than the new one.

None of the above applies when Airhaus is the one cancelling. If we cancel for weather, safety, equipment, or any other reason, the Renter chooses between rescheduling to any available date or a full refund, no matter how close to the event that decision is made.

12Governing law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey.

13Electronic acceptance

By checking the agreement box at checkout, the Renter agrees this constitutes a legally binding electronic signature accepting these terms.

Questions about these terms? Email hello@airhausrentals.com. The marketing opt-in is separate and voluntary, and is never required to rent.
